My paintings are joyful expressions of the positive connections between living things. I hope to bring happiness to the viewer through the silent language of color by creating the illusion of light and form through paint.

As a portrait artist, my focus is to capture the essense of what makes us unique. Spirit is reflected in my paintings of human beings, animals, plants and marine life. Although my subjects are accurately represented, brushstrokes remain visible defining my style as a kind of “painterly realism”. By living in South Florida, I have been influenced by the tropical suroundings and my paintings often reflect these rich colors.
